Who Should Have a Screening Colonoscopy?

A common procedure recommended by the American Cancer Society for everyone beginning at the age of 50 is a screening colonoscopy and for anyone with parents, siblings or children with a history of colorectal cancer or polyps. It's a safe method for examining the full lining of the colon and rectum and is used to evaluate gastrointestinal symptoms, diagnose colon and rectum problems, perform biopsies and remove colon polyps.

Call 636.344.1025 to schedule a screening colonoscopy. To pre-register for your GI procedure, call 636.344.1109 as soon as you're scheduled.
