She enjoys educating patient families in new ways and has special interests in allergy, asthma, infectious disease, preventative medicine and early childhood development. Dr. Ryan is married with three children and you can often find them taking advantage of events around St. Louis, at the Missouri Botanical Garden, Busch Stadium or the zoo.

Bob Hoffman, MD

While at St. Louis Children’s Hospital, she helped establish an outpatient education program for the pediatric residents in training which promoted the private practice pediatrician as a preceptor for the residents physicians. This COPE program (Community Outpatient Practice Experience) still continues and the physicians of Northwest Pediatrics continue to serve as preceptors for the residents from SLCH.

Given her background in public health , emergency and community medicine, she enjoys counseling families in healthy life choices, judicious use of medicines and promotes immunization of children and parents. In her free time she enjoys almost any outdoor activity, reading, music and dance.

Dr. Murphy has had the pleasure of working with children for his entire medical career.
